Why haven't more scribes told on the players in the '60's who took speed, "greenies", trainer provided? What Bonds added was bulk yes, but you can go to

any Gold's Gym and find steroid users, why aren't they million dollar ballplayers? They don't have the eyes, wrists or reflexes which are God given, or for the atheists— genetic. I would like to see some honesty about this. JFK frequently got pussy in the White House, Clinton didn't get away with a BJ— journalism has changed more than athletes, they always want to win, to have an edge on the competition; I once saw Hank Aaron smoking a cigarette during a clubhouse interview, he wouldn't promote smoking and the guys that took steroids wouldn't advise them either, Lyle Alzado confirmed this on TV before he passed, they were primative compared to "clear" I suppose, but what's going to kill you quicker? Cigs or roids; who knows and who cares, we all tell our kids not to do either one, but to keep steroid era players out of the HOF is to perpetrate a lie, that anyone who plays fair and square can be on Bonds' or McGuire's level, so put an * by their name and put Roger Maris in the Hall where he belongs, and Canton: Alex Karras .
